Earlier this year, Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi was appointed to the role of Minister of State for Tolerance. Among her first acts: leading a diplomatic trip to visit with Pope Francis and other dignitaries in June. Formerly the Minister of International Cooperation and Development.
