His Excellency Dr. Nabil ElAraby, Secretary General of the Arab League, told the World Government Summit he believes Arab governments should act on these five issues immediately to prepare itself for the future:

1. It is very important for us to focus on ensuring all Arab governments achieve what is known as ‘good governance’.

2. Governments should also allocate special attention to education and scientific research.

3. Ensure sustainable development because without sustainability you cannot achieve good governance.

4. We need to eradicate and eliminate terrorism.

5. We need to find a solution to the different conflicts – the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, as well as the conflicts in Syria and Yemen.
