In the last decades, many voices raised the issue of human activities' impact on the environment, and signs of Climate Change have since become more devastating and alarming. Many governments, despite their different agenda, agree that Climate Change has become the most critical issue of the twenty first century.

However, the scale of the challenge, as well as the number of dimensions and stakeholders involved, can be overwhelming for policymakers who lack of the right tools to make the right decisions. 

This report explores the potential of new digital technologies such as IoT and AI for enhancing the policymaking process and for providing governments with new ways of tackling the carbon emissions challenge.
