<p>His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, presented the World Government Summit Best Minister Award 2017. The award was conferred upon HE Awa Marie Coll-Seck, Minister of Health and Social Action in Senegal.</p> <p>She was highly appreciated for her numerous professional and academic honors. She is also the author of more than 150 publications. She is applauded for reducing child mortality rate, preventing malaria, and stopping Ebola from spreading in her home country and abroad.</p> <p>The World Government Summit presents the World&rsquo;s Best Minister Award in cooperation with Earnest and Young. The selection criteria included innovative leadership, quality and impact, reputation, and ease of replication. The is judged independently by the World Bank, OECD, and others.</p>
