Beyond the social digital worlds that enable virtual human connection, virtual communities of practice have the capacity to respond to the world’s greatest challenges. Virtual communities of practice have become more prevalent during lockdown periods around the world, encouraging thinkers, innovators, industry leaders and pioneers to continue their practice – virtually. During this discussion, we invite experts and industry leaders to share their perspectives on the longevity and sustainability of virtual societies, and how governments can leverage the substantive knowledge shared in these communities to solve the world’s greatest challenges.
