In the advent of a global pandemic that sent shockwaves to familiar processes, the geopolitical plain, and the world economic structure, governments and nations were left confused and distressed. Regions have struggled to deal with the aftermath of the human and economic losses of the crisis, while others made it through in much better circumstances. How did the Asian region fare? What major changes have we seen across Asia in terms of jobs, human lives, and livelihoods, economy and wellbeing? And what is next for the Asian region, through this phase of the crisis and beyond? What can we expect to change within governments and economies in 2021? We are joined by Nandan Nilekani, Co-Founder of Infosys and Dr. Samir Saran, President of Observer Research Foundation to discuss the changes that have swept across the Asian region in economy, geopolitics and governance, and where are we headed from here?
