Tessa is currently a Research Fellow at the School of Health and Related Research at the University of Sheffield in the UK. As a health economist she uses a range of methods within her work, both qualitative and quantitative. Her research focuses on three main areas: understanding the determinants of health and wellbeing, developing methods for measuring and valuing health and wellbeing (with a particular focus on instruments to measure Quality Adjusted Life Years), and exploring how measures of wellbeing can be better incorporated into healthcare decision making.
