Prof. Mohammad Thneibat is the former Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education, and Chairman of Jordan’s National Committee of UNESCO since 2013. Prof. Thneibat has over 30 years of experience in various economic and political fields with extensive focus on administrative sciences and development. Prof. Thneibat occupied many governmental posts prior to his post as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education. He served as Minister of Public Sector Development, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Minister of Administrative Development, Minister of Culture, Minister of Environment, Minister of Health, President of Administrative Inspection and Control Commission, and Prime Ministry Advisor. Prof. Thneibat holds a PhD in Administrative Science and Manpower Planning following two master’s degrees in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Jordan. Prof. Mohammad Thneibat served as a Professor at the University of Jordan for more than 20 years.Prof. Mohammad Thneibat received the KAWKAB Medal of the First Order, and Al-Hussein Decoration for Distinguished Contribution of the First Order in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the education and lives of all the children in Jordan.
